Mr. Guard Man

This game was made for the GMTK game jam 2023

The idea is, its a stealth game, but you play as the guards and have to find the protagonist.

This project was the first game I have ever made, I basically just spent the whole jam trying to figure out how to code and even though half of the stuff used in the game I didn't write, I spent way way too much time figure out how it all works.

There are only two levels since I have no clue what I'm doing, and spent 90% of the jam time trying to make basic things work. So when it came around to actually putting in the things to make the game a game, I only made these two levels and called it quits. The levels will just loop infinitely. And because I don't know what I'm doing, I just kinda deleted and recreated everything both levels. I'm insanely tired and don't want to actually find the correct way to do multiple levels right now.

The code for lighting was written by JOBO, which I got for free from the GameMaker Market
